"Alistair does it again folks! He brings you back from the dead to Crimson Cove with our hero Cade and gives him one hell of a delicious foe to contend with! Without giving too much away I will caution the readers who enjoy this series to watch out for any looming shadows, bisexual vampires who may or may not have influenced an entire decade of glam rock, and the plot twists only Alistair could write! It’s like being envenomated every time I read one of Alistair's books, I fall further into addiction and you will too! I’m already salivating for the next one!"

"I wasn't loving this book as much as the first four in the series. The author spent a lot of time developing characters that seemingly disappeared in this book. Then I hit about the 80% mark and wow...I devoured the ending. I didn't realize there would be more in the series, I hope they don't take long. I can't wait to see what happens."
